Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Danial, the independent developer in Singapore who makes Yubyub ("we", "us"), for your use of the Yubyub app and yubyub.app. By using Yubyub you agree to them, and to our Privacy Policy.

Your account

You must be at least 13 to use Yubyub.
Keep your sign-in secure. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
Your name and handle must not pretend to be someone else or be offensive. We may change a handle that breaks these rules.

Being a good friend

Don't use Yubyub to harass, stalk, threaten or spam anyone, to share content you don't have the right to share, or to break the law. You can block or report anyone from their profile. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.

Your content

You own the photos, letters and other things you add. You give us permission to store them and show them to the people you choose, only so we can run Yubyub. Don't post anything private about other people without their permission.

Yubits

Yubits are in-app coins. They have no cash value, can't be exchanged for money or anything outside the app, and can't be transferred except where the app lets you give them to friends.
You earn Yubits by using Yubyub: daily check-ins, plans, travel, the plane game, helping friends, and optional reward videos. In the plane game you keep the Yubits you collect when you finish a round, once per friend's flight. Earning may slow down after a weekly limit, which the app shows you.
Yubits you give to a friend, their home or a Yub Street are gifts. They can't be taken back.
We may correct a balance that's wrong because of a bug, and remove Yubits earned by cheating.

Purchases

Yubits packs are sold through Apple or Google and charged by them under their terms. Refunds are handled by them.
Purchased Yubits don't expire. If a purchase is refunded, we may remove the Yubits it added.

Play fair

Don't cheat. That means no fake trips or locations, no bots or scripts, no extra accounts to farm Yubits, and no using bugs to your advantage. Travel rewards and passport stamps need a real trip. If something looks wrong, we may pause rewards on the account while we check.

Yub Streets

The person who creates it owns it: anyone in the Street can invite friends, and the owner approves who moves in.
The owner can delete the Street. It's then gone for everyone, including what was built with it.

Schedules, flights and times

Yubyub shows free times and flights from the calendars, rosters and trips you and your friends provide. Flight positions and landing times are estimates, not live tracking. Please check anything important, such as flights and pick-ups, with the airline or the original source.

Test versions

Test versions of Yubyub (for example on TestFlight) may have bugs, and features, Yubits or other data may be changed or reset before or after release.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Me → Settings → Account. Unused Yubits are lost when you do. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms.

Liability

Yubyub is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for missed plans caused by inaccurate schedule or flight information. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

Changes and contact

If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we'll tell you in the app first. These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Questions: support@yubyub.app
